Abstract

The objective of this work is to show that fiscal policy is a powerful tool for stabilisation policy both as to generate economic development policies in emerging economies as Mexico, through the development of a model fiscal policy and economic development. Highlights the potential use of fiscal policy as a tool of development through the promotion of economic growth, combat poverty and inequality and democratic consolidation given by the fiscal legitimacy of a progressive and transparent taxation system.
