COVID-19. Global Economic Lack oc Control and Uncertainty, Counter- Ciclical Economy Policy Actions: The case of China

Abstract

Article analyzes the historical context of pandemics, to size COVID-19.Frome her, it describes its impact generated a doubl´e crisis: a health crisis and economic crisis, when they were presented in unison, they forced countries to react in two ways, with healt and economic policy actiones. It is argued that the actions of the health policy putt he national and internacional economies in check and that the short-term effectts have caused the global economy to fall into a deep recession. The aricle emphasizes the analysis of the health and economy policy tha Cina implemented, following orthodoxy, to counteract its economic impact and gives a timely account of its strategy the expectation of which is to recover its growth capacity and be one of the few economies that does not fall into crisis in 2020.
